Voting in the Mayoral Runoff could help COPPeR receive a $1,000 donation.
Encourage everyone you know to vote by May 19!
#RockTheVoteCOS has chosen COPPeR as one of 3 local nonprofits that will directly benefit from a financial incentive offered to motivate younger voters in the May 19 mayoral runoff. “If we can get registered voters age 30-44 to amp up their turnout to 20% in this election, Colorado Springs Independent and Colorado Springs Business Journal will donate $1,000 to each of these 3 nonprofits that make young professional’s lives awesome: Trails and Open Space Coalition, COPPeR, and Colorado Springs Urban Intervention.”
Learn more about #RockTheVoteCOS (and the after-voting party planned for May 14 at 4 p.m. at NOSH!) at https://www.facebook.com/RockTheVoteCOS.
We don’t care who you vote for – just vote!

Arts Advocates Outreach Team Appreciation Lunch and Training
Wednesday, May 20 from 12-1 p.m. at Lucha Cantina
RSVP by May 14 to Angela Seals, angela@coppercolo.org
Arts Advocates are volunteers trained by COPPeR to speak knowledgeably about the local arts community. They form a team each summer to inspire and invite residents and tourists to experience all there is to do here in the Pikes Peak region!
COPPeR’s arts outreach booth invites people to sign up for the Peak Radar Picks weekly e-blast and spin the prize wheel for a chance to win tickets to a variety of community events. Last summer, we signed up over 1,000 new Peak Radar Picks email subscribers at a dozen events across the region!
Would you consider volunteering to help staff the booth for a few shifts this summer? If so, please rsvp for the training by May 14 and join us.

Time to Update Your Listing for the 2015-2016 Peak Radar Pages
Update Deadline: May 15
Each year, COPPeR produces the region’s only comprehensive directory of arts and cultural groups. New this year, we are partnering with Colorado Springs Business Journal to produce and more broadly distribute 7,000 copies to community centers, libraries, hotels, military bases, area tourism offices, chambers of commerce, and more! Last year’s Peak Radar Pages featured 350 organizations – all pulled from information on PeakRadar.com.
Is your group listed … and is that listing correct and complete? Do you see a current photo, engaging description, correct contact information and website? Check by typing the name in the Search box at PeakRadar.com. If you want to make changes, log in and update today. If you don’t remember your login, we can help at support@peakradar.com.
Want to advertise in the 2015-2016 Peak Radar Pages? Early bird pricing has expired, but ad space is still available. Ad rates are $225 for a 1/4 page, $350 for a 1/2 page, or $550 for a full page. Contact Angela at angela@coppercolo.org to reserve your ad before June 15.
